Custom Legs for a Credenza

Objective:

To create a custom base for an existing Credenza for a client in Ottawa.

Process:

The client asked me if I could come up with a new leg design for a Credenza she owned. She was not happy with the base it came with, which had the piece sitting only 3 inches of the ground and it looked visually very heavy.

We came up with a splayed leg design 8" high which brought the height of the top of the credenza up to where she wanted it. 

Once the design was finalized, I cut the legs and the mortise joinery sockets - which will house the crosspieces to tie the 2 leg pieces together - on the CNC.
